Care Guide

Lighting: Bright but diffused light. Direct sunlight scorches the leaves, and in deep shade the plant will stop blooming. Watering: Water when the top layer of soil dries out (about 2–3 cm). Anthurium does not tolerate waterlogged roots, so any excess water in the saucer must be drained. Humidity: High humidity is required (from 60%). It's helpful to mist the leaves in the morning, but it's important that droplets do not get on the flowers themselves (spathes), otherwise brown spots will appear on them. Soil: A loose, acidic soil that provides good aeration is needed. A ready-made mix for aroids or orchids with added charcoal and sphagnum moss is ideal. Temperature: Ideally +20…+25 °C in summer and not below +16 °C in winter. The main thing is to protect the plant from drafts.
