Light: variegated varieties prefer bright, diffused light, while other types are comfortable in partial shade. Do not let the ficus stand in direct sunlight. 3 Humidity: some species require high humidity (up to 75–80%), others are fine with 50%. Excess moisture can promote the development of rot-causing bacteria. 3 Temperature: the optimal temperature for ficuses in summer is 22–24 °C, in winter — 12–16 °C. 4 Watering: usually once a week is enough, but it's better to check the soil condition. If the soil has dried out by 2–3 cm, you can water the ficus. Use water that has been allowed to stand for 1–2 days, and water moderately: better to let it dry than to overwater. 3
