Care Guide

Flowering. Each rosette of a Guzmania blooms only once, after which it dies. Lighting. The light should be bright and diffuse. Temperature regime. Air temperature should not be above 27 degrees and below 13 degrees. The plant grows best at 25 degrees during active growth and development, and at 20 degrees during flowering. Watering. Water it immediately after the top layer of the potting mix in the pot has slightly dried. Air humidity. It should be high. For this, the plant is misted every day with well-settled tepid water from a sprayer. Fertilizing. Feedings are carried out from March to September once every 4 weeks; a fertilizer for bromeliads is used for this, and the concentration of the nutrient solution should be half of that indicated in the instructions.
