Өркен — decorative bonsai with Cetraria

«Өркен» in Kazakh means "sprout". The name of this composition carries a wish for growth, well-being, and new beginnings. A sinuous wooden trunk rises above a wide textured base and connects four rounded tiers of foliage. Lacy lichens and cetraria create transitions from silvery to soft olive tones. The warm brown color of the wood emphasizes the natural palette, and the cascading details at the base complete the impression of a small forest landscape. This decorative bonsai will make a striking accent on a shelf, console table, or desk. The decorative tree complements interiors with wooden furniture, ceramics, and subdued colors. It is suitable for those who choose unusual decor for home and office and enjoy examining natural textures. «Өркен» — syylyk, a gift with a warm meaning. It can be presented for a birthday, to mark the start of a new project, or chosen as a housewarming gift. The composition will remind of your attention and kind wish: may everything you intend grow and develop. After misting, the cetraria gradually unfurls and changes position. As it dries it becomes more compact again. A dry state is normal: it does not need to be kept constantly moist and green. Care: mist the cetraria no more than once a week. Start with the lower lichens, then moisten a small area of the crown with short bursts from a distance of 2–3 cm. Place the composition on a stable surface and do not rotate it while spraying. Do not soak with water; avoid constant dampness and direct sunlight. With high air humidity, additional misting may not be necessary.
