Zamioculcas is an undemanding evergreen houseplant with glossy, dark green, pinnate leaves and a thick tuberous rhizome that stores moisture. Known as the dollar plant or the flower of celibacy, it is adapted to drought and low light but requires warm conditions. The inflorescences are inconspicuous spadices that are often removed to conserve the plant's energy.

Care Guide

Zamioculcas requires minimal care: bright, indirect light, water only after the soil has completely dried out (in summer once a week, less often in winter), a moderate temperature (18–26°C) and soil for succulents. Repot every 2–3 years, feed with cactus fertilizer during the growing season.
